At last week's technique class, we de-mystified some really cool cards! Sorry if you missed it...be sure to check out my claendar and sign-up to attend a class or event soon. Here is what we learned about last week (my photos are a bit fuzzy and I HATE that! Hopefully Santa will help me out with that):
This first image is the inside of the Tunnel Card. A simple fold and a couple of layers make this more special than an ordinary card. Change the colors and images to suit any occasion.
This is the Slider Card we made using the Peaceful Wishes stamp set. The secret ingredient and unique construction of this card gives its recipient a surprise when they pull at the tab. A real "Wow!"
This is a photo of our last technique, the Shadow Box Card. (It is prettier in real life, but you get the idea.) This card is "3D" but it can be folded flat and mailed in Stampin' Up!'s long notes envelopes. I recently made a birthday card as a Shadow Box Card and even stamped on the envelope. The Dazzling Diamonds glitter doesn't show up in the photo, but adds just the right sparkle. The images on the inside layer are balloons (the Eat Cake stamp set was used):
Don't miss November's technique night!
