We skipped a month (sorry) but the SKETCH CHALLENGE IS BACK! For October, I've chosen to challenge you with a square sketch. Try designing a square card! (If you're not comfortable with this odd size, feel free to adapt your card as you like.) Submit a digital image of your card (or the card itself) to me by October 30th. Then, beginning on November 1st, come back to The Ink Blot Spot to vote in the poll. The creator of the card earning the most votes wins a FREE Classic Ink Pad from me! What've you got to lose??
By the way, did you know that you can leave comments here? You can comment on any of my posts...just click on "comments," below. I'd love to know if you're reading this blog and what you think! Particularly, now, about Sketch Challenges, I'd like to know if these inspire you...if you're thinking about participating, but just don't find the time...if you'd prefer a scrapbooking sketch challenge (or both!)...or any other thoughts you have. Okay, Here's the October Card Sketch:
We have a winner for the July Sketch Challenge...Elizabeth P. will receive her choice of a Classic Stampin' Pad. There was no poll to vote on, because Elizabeth was our only (fantastic) entry! I made a sample to post, simply to give you the creative juice! You can view both of our cards under the "July Sketch Challenge" photo album, to the right.
So, now for August! It's fun and simple...just make a card, loosely based on this sketch and e-mail your digital photo of the card. I'll post it to the blog and on September 1, I'll post a poll in which you can vote for your favorite. Give it a try! You have nothing to lose and an Ink Pad to gain! Here's your new sketch:
I'm so excited to try this! Here's the idea: Each month I'll post a sketch here on my blog. Your challenge is to design a card based on the sketch (the sketch is ONLY a guide or springboard...you are free to loosely follow it). Please try to use mostly Stampin' Up! products. Then, you submit your card to me (this can be in the form of a digital image sent to me or the actual card, from which I will post the digital image).
All entries will be posted to this blog. On August 1st, I will post a poll on the blog and all visitors to the blog may vote on their favorite. The winner receives a Classic Ink Pad in the color of her choice from me!
