Sneak Peek!

Here is a little sneak peek of my Album In A Day class.  This will be a fun day of scrapbooking on Saturday, September 8th, 10 am to 4 pm.  When you register for this event, you'll choose the color of your album and when you arrive for the class, you will receive a Simply Scrappin' kit, an assortment of 12x12 cardstock, your album and all embellishments you will need to create a 20-page scrapbook!  You'll take home your completed book, all ready to "crop and drop" your photos onto the pages!!

You can bring your lunch, or we'll order pizza, and I will have beverages and snacks available.  This is a fun and relaxing day of scrapbooking!  Space is limited so that all scrappers will have plenty of work space.  Visit my website, calendar page for all details.  (You'll find a link on the right).      

Still Scrapbooking!

It has been very difficult to make time for my scrapbooking, but it is so very important to me to do so.  I am still working on my son's baby album after rescuing the photos from that bad, bad magnetic album!  I wish I could just concentrate on the scrapbooking, but there are so many other things to fit into each day.  Still, I will keep plugging away when I can.  Here are the 2 latest double-page spreads:

Keeping my resolution!

Hard to believe it's the end of January already!  It has been a busy month on all fronts, but I HAVE made some time to keep my resolution to get scrapbooking!  Now, I know all the experts will tell you to scrapbook the most recent memories and keep up to date with them. Then, if you have time, work backwards to "catch up." 

Well, despite knowing this wisdom, I can't help but go back to my son's baby pictures and make him a beautiful baby album.  (I saved these pictures from the "magnetic album" they were in...I am embarrassed to tell you this!!)  I need to do my journaling, but the pages are at least taking shape.  So, here is some of my progress:

 

Scrap is Where it's AT!

One of my new year resolutions is to finally get back to my scrapbooking!  I was a scrapper before I became a stamper and, in fact, one reason I got into stamping was because I was excited and inspired by what my scrapbooks could become by stamping in them!  Alas, life took over and I began stamping EVERYTHING else besides my scrapbooks.  So, I've made myself a promise to get back to my first love (well, one of them) and create those beautiful albums, preserving my precious family memories!  I want to invite you to come along on this journey with me!  And I have a couple of very exciting opportunities to get you (and me) started:
