I had great fun creating the following hostess set for our recent visit to Lake Anna. The hostess was so appreciative and generous with her compliments.
The set includes Bath Salts and Body Butter (found at the Dollar Store), a candle, box of matches and a box of chocolates.
Soft Sky cardstock was used to make labels to cover the existing labels. It was chosen to coordinate with the color of the bath salts and the body butter. The stamp set is Blossoms Abound (soon to be retired). The Classic Inks used were Almost Amethyst, Lovely Lilac, Sage Shadow, Handsome Hunter. The candle is wrapped in a gusseted cello bag and tied with organdy ribbon. The box of homemade chocolates (a product of my Dove Chocolate At Home party) is tied with organdy ribbon and Soft Sky Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon. The tag was made using the Designer Label Punch and stamped with the retired Watercolor Minis set. Very quick and easy to put together, but the appeal of all the items coordinating into a set makes all the impact. Try making a gift set yourself -- they're fun and addicting!
